Job summary

Randstad Technologies Recruitment in Dartford, Kent, seeks a senior Data Architect to lead the data strategy for a major engineering program, focusing on PLM and MES integration and the digital thread between design and shop-floor operations.

The role requires hands-on data modeling, governance, and roadmaps, working with engineering, IT, and operations in a hybrid setup (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) with an initial 3-month contract.

Qualifications

• Experience as Data Architect in manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, or heavy engineering.
• Hands-on PLM/MES experience with major platforms (Teamcenter, Windchill, Enovia, SAP PLM).
• Experience with MES (Opcenter, SAP ME/MII, Plex, Aveva).
• Deep understanding of Digital Manufacturing principles (Industry 4.0, Digital Twin, Smart Factory).
• Ability to work onsite 3 days per week in Dartford, Kent.

About the Role

We are seeking a senior Data Architect with specialized experience in digital manufacturing, PLM, and MES integration to lead the data strategy for a major engineering program. In this role, you will define enterprise data models, data governance, and architectural roadmaps to connect product design directly with shop-floor operations.
