Job summary

Addition Solutions LTD is seeking a Data Architect to design secure, high-impact data solutions for national security and geospatial projects. The role offers a hybrid model with on-site collaboration in Gloucester, London or Manchester.

You will translate complex requirements and drive governance across cloud data platforms while engaging diverse stakeholders. This hands-on position emphasizes secure-by-design principles, reusable IP, and ongoing innovation within a highly regulated environment

Qualifications

• Strong background in data architecture, including modelling, integration, transformation, and migration.
• Experience with data governance, metadata, and master data management.
• Proven ability to support analytics environments and AI-enabled solutions.
• Strong data quality experience, including KPI definition and automated validation approaches.
• Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (AWS and/or Azure) such as S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda, ADF, Synapse or equivalent.
• Ability to operate in highly secure environments (active DV clearance required).
• Confident communicator with experience engaging technical and non-technical stakeholders.

This is a hands-on role shaping data capability that directly supports critical decision-making in complex, high-stakes environments.

Role Overview:

What You’ll Be Doing:
