You will play a pivotal part in ensuring that all data and management information processes are delivered accurately and efficiently, adhering to both internal procedures and regulatory requirements.

What you'll do

As a Data and MI Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all data-related activities within the Client Lifecycle Management function. Your day-to-day tasks will involve handling complex datasets, performing reconciliations for both internal use and regulatory compliance, as well as documenting essential procedures. You will be expected to communicate effectively with colleagues across departments when investigating data discrepancies or resolving queries. Your ability to manage your workload independently while remaining an active contributor to team projects will be crucial for success. By providing accurate management information in a timely manner, you will directly support decision-making processes throughout the organisation. The role also offers opportunities to participate in ad hoc projects that further develop your analytical skills while fostering a culture of collaboration.

  • Maintain and report on all data and management information across multiple platforms, ensuring timely uploads and oversight of internal reporting repositories.
  • Manipulate, clean, and structure large datasets to ensure accuracy and consistency for both internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
  • Conduct ad hoc investigations into data issues, communicating findings clearly to resolve queries efficiently.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations as well as prepare reports required for internal governance and external compliance.
  • Document and update procedures related to data management and management information processes to ensure best practices are followed at all times.
  • Demonstrate ownership of assigned deliverables by producing outputs that are both timely and accurate, reflecting a high standard of responsibility.
  • Monitor shared mailboxes diligently, responding to queries with professionalism and clarity.
  • Assist colleagues within the team on various projects as needed, sharing knowledge to enhance overall team performance.
  • Support the wider Data and Management Information Team by contributing positively to communal goals and initiatives.
What you bring

To excel as a Data and Management Information Analyst in this setting, you will bring proven experience in managing complex datasets within regulated environments—ideally within financial services or banking. Your background should reflect not only technical proficiency but also interpersonal strengths such as empathy, dependability, and a genuine commitment to supporting others. You will have demonstrated your ability to work collaboratively within teams while taking responsibility for individual deliverables. Your analytical mindset enables you to identify trends or anomalies quickly while your communication skills ensure that findings are shared constructively across departments. A keen eye for detail ensures accuracy in every aspect of your work—from routine reconciliations through to documentation updates—while your openness towards learning new systems or processes helps drive continuous improvement throughout the team.

  • A minimum 2:1 Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification demonstrating academic achievement relevant to the field.
  • Excellent organisational abilities paired with effective time management skills that enable you to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills that allow you to explain complex data concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • Advanced numerical aptitude combined with strong analytical thinking for interpreting large volumes of information accurately.
  • High level of computer literacy with proven experience in manipulating data using Excel functions such as VLOOKUPs, XLOOKUPs, Index/Match, Pivot Tables.
  • A customer-centric approach gained through previous roles where client satisfaction was paramount.
  • Demonstrable ability to support change initiatives by identifying process improvements or innovative solutions within existing frameworks.
  • Collaborative mindset with a willingness to share knowledge openly for the benefit of the entire team’s performance.
  • Sound understanding of the banking industry landscape along with familiarity with Know Your Customer (KYC) principles.
  • Meticulous attention to detail coupled with a sense of accountability for delivering quality outcomes
