A leading digital agency in London seeks an experienced Analytics Manager to enhance their analytics function. This role involves managing analytics platforms, delivering insights from data, and collaborating with various teams. We're looking for a highly skilled Analytics Manager to play a central role within our Performance department. You'll work closely with the Head of Performance to strengthen our analytics offering - ensuring we deliver insightful, data-driven strategies for our clients.
This position combines hands‑on implementation with strategic oversight. You'll manage analytics platforms, uncover insights from complex datasets, and communicate findings clearly to both internal teams and clients. You'll also oversee a remote analytics specialist and ensure smooth coordination across departments.
Translate data into meaningful insights and communicate findings to clients in a clear, actionable way.
Configure and maintain analytics environments - including property setup, user permissions, dashboards, and automated reporting.
Serve as a reliable source of truth for all data-driven reporting and measurement.
Analyse multi-channel performance data to inform marketing and website optimisation strategies.
Support with campaign tracking, tag implementation, and troubleshooting issues in analytics and tagging setups.
Collaborate with internal teams (Growth, Creative, and Client Services) to ensure consistent and accurate data collection.
Oversee and guide a remote analytics specialist - managing workload, reviewing output, and ensuring quality standards are met.
Present analytical insights to support client pitches, performance reviews, and strategic planning.
Google Analytics 4 (GA4): Advanced event tracking, custom dimensions, cross-domain tracking, and report building.
Google Tag Manager (GTM): Setup, configuration, debugging, and deploying conversion tags and tracking pixels.
Consent & Compliance: Working knowledge of cookie consent configuration and Google Consent Mode v2.
Data Visualisation: Skilled in creating dashboards and visual reports, ideally using Looker Studio or similar tools.
Problem Solving: Identify and resolve data discrepancies, tracking errors, or reporting gaps.
Strategic Insights: Turn data into recommendations that inform campaigns, KPIs, and overall client strategy.
Manage tasks and project tickets for a remote analytics team member using tools like Jira or equivalent.
Conduct regular progress reviews and provide technical guidance.
Work cross-functionally to ensure tracking and reporting align with broader business and campaign objectives.
