Job summary

The Shaw Education Trust is seeking a Data and Examinations Officer to join Unsworth Academy on a 12-month maternity contract. You will work with the Exams Team and Senior Leadership Team to deliver accurate data provision and smooth examination administration across the school.

You will manage data processes, coordinate exam timetables, maintain records, and support staff with information needs while upholding safeguarding and confidentiality.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Data and Exams Officer to join our team on a 12-month maternity contract. You will work closely with our Exams Team and members of the Senior Leadership Team, providing an efficient and effective data and examinations service and supporting the smooth administration and delivery of all examination processes.

Unsworth Academy is a thriving, oversubscribed, co-educational and non- selective Bury high school. The school is on an incredibly exciting journey of school improvement. Our latest Ofsted report, in April 2025 was glowing and indictive of an outstanding judgement were it to have been a graded inspection.

A new three-year development plan titled ‘Exemplary Unsworth 2028 was launched in September 2025. It will guide our journey to an even more sophisticated level of provision for the wonderful community of Unsworth.
