Job summary

NatWest Group in London is seeking a Data & Analytics Transformation Programme Manager to lead strategic technology and change programmes that deliver business and customer outcomes.

You’ll chair governance forums, define objectives, shape the financial case, and manage complex programmes across Data, Analytics, AI and decisioning, engaging senior stakeholders and translating technical concepts into value.

Qualifications

• A relevant programme management qualification and cost management experience are required.
• Experience delivering strategic transformation programmes that support business strategy and growth.
• Ability to engage credibly with technical teams and translate concepts into business value.

Responsibilities

• Chair programme governance forums, working groups and Steering Committees, driving effective decision making and timely resolution of risks, issues and dependencies
• Define objectives, structure and scope, leading the articulation of the financial business case for the technology programme
• Identify and manage governance and controls of the technology programme and ensure deliverables adhere to governance and risk frameworks
• Deliver project outcomes and services from the technology programme strategic objectives
• Manage programme plans, controls and resource plans, and carry out progress reporting on plans and controls

Join us as a Data & Analytics Transformation Programme Manager

• This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering the Private Banking & Wealth Management (PBWM) Data & Analytics (D&A) transformation agenda
• Work across a portfolio of strategic initiatives covering Data, AI, Decisioning and business change
• Use your programme management expertise to drive delivery, align stakeholders and realise business value
• You’ll work from home some of the time but you’ll also spend at least twice a week working from our London office

What you'll do

In your new role, you’ll define and lead strategic technology and change programmes to deliver sustainable business and customer outcomes and embed exemplar programme management disciplines, governance frameworks and ways of working that improve transparency, accountability and execution across multiple initiatives.

You’ll also:

• Chair programme governance forums, working groups and Steering Committees, driving effective decision making and timely resolution of risks, issues and dependencies
• Define appropriate objectives, structure and scope, leading the articulation of the financial business case for the technology programme
• Identify and manage the governance and controls of the technology programme and ensure that all of the programme deliverables adhere to the agreed governance and risk frameworks
• Deliver the project outcomes and services from the technology programme strategic objectives
• Manage programme plans, controls and resource plans, and carry out progress reporting on plans and controls

The skills you'll need

You'll need an appropriate programme management qualification and experience of managing and controlling costs to budget successfully. You'll also have experience delivering strategic transformation programmes that support business strategy and growth objectives.

You’ll also need:

• Experience of delivering programme management within Data, Analytics, Technology or Digital functions
• Extensive experience in programme governance, including planning, controls, prioritisation, RAID management and the mobilisation of complex programmes
• Strong understanding of Data & Analytics disciplines, including analytics, data engineering, data science, AI and decisioning, with the ability to engage credibly with technical teams and translate technical concepts into business outcomes
• Strong stakeholder management, influencing and leadership skills, with experience producing high-quality materials for executive stakeholders and governance forums
• Extensive experience in cost management, benefits tracking, business case management, aligning delivery to strategic objectives, and familiarity with AI-enabled productivity and delivery tools such as Kiro, GitHub and Copilot
