Job summary

Keys Group in Birmingham is expanding its Data & Analytics team and seeks a Data Analytics Engineer to build datasets, models, pipelines and reporting solutions that support decision-making across the organisation.

You will develop Power BI reports and semantic models, transform data from multiple sources, apply best practices for data governance and quality, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver analytics that drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering Power BI reports, dashboards and semantic models.
• Strong SQL skills with complex datasets.
• Experience with Snowflake or comparable cloud data platform.
• Ability to design analytical data models and scalable pipelines.
• Knowledge of data governance, quality, and reporting best practices.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic models.
• Create intuitive visualisations that support operational, tactical, and strategic decision-making.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines, analytical datasets, and scalable data models.
• Transform and integrate data from multiple source systems into trusted reporting solutions.
• Apply business logic and modelling best practices to ensure consistency, performance, and maintainability.
• Support the development and operation of our cloud-based data and analytics platform.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting outputs.
• Contribute to data governance, security, documentation, and compliance best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to gather requirements and deliver effective analytics solutions.

Join our growing Data & Analytics team as a Data Analytics Engineer. This exciting role combines analytics engineering, business intelligence, and data platform development, giving you the opportunity to build and enhance the datasets, data models, pipelines, and reporting solutions that support decision-making across Keys Group. Working across the full analytics lifecycle, you'll transform data from multiple business systems into trusted, accessible insights through our enterprise reporting platform. You'll play a key role in developing our modern cloud-based analytics environment, helping to shape how data is leveraged across the organisation to drive informed decisions and continuous improvement.,

• Strong SQL skills and experience working with complex datasets.

• Experience working within a Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or Data & Analytics environment.
