Job summary

CBSbutler Holdings Limited trading as CBSbutler is seeking a Scala Data Analyst for a contract role in Financial Services. The position is London Hybrid with an immediate start and a day rate of 600-650 GBP inside IR35.

The successful candidate will focus on database analysis, Scala development, and data/messaging services within a high-performance tech environment. Key tasks include working with Oracle databases, REST services, and Kafka messaging, with desirable exposure to AMPS and SWAPS.

Qualifications

• Strong Oracle database analysis experience.
• Hands-on Scala development required.
• Experience with Cats Effect and/or ZIO beneficial.
• Strong knowledge of REST services.
• Experience with Kafka and messaging platforms.

Responsibilities

• Analyze databases and data flows within a high-performance finance tech environment.
• Develop Scala components and data/messaging services as part of the platform.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure robust data integrations and latency targets.

The role will focus on database analysis, Scala development and data/messaging services, working within a high-performance technical environment.
