Overview

BMW Group Plant Oxford is a modern, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, located in Oxford, UK. BMW (UK) Manufacturing Limited, MINI Plant Oxford - Safety Management & Food Data Analyst – 13 Months Placement (July 2026).

What awaits you?
  • Provide support for health and safety planning, incident reporting, and analytics activities, including data collection, validation, and synthesis for safety and health projects.
  • Prepare, maintain, and present health, safety, and food operation reports and dashboards to enable data-informed decision making and compliance monitoring.
  • Coordinate meetings, communications, and stakeholder updates related to health, safety, and food management; gather and organize information from relevant systems and tools.
  • Contribute to project work and event coordination (e.g., safety seminars, training sessions, food safety initiatives) and maintain thorough documentation, templates, and file management.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams (health, safety, and food operations) to drive improvements, efficiency, and adherence to internal policies, processes, and regulatory compliance.
  • Apply data analytics to health management, workplace safety, and food safety processes—identifying patterns and opportunities for risk reduction, performance monitoring, and linking insights to strategic goals and value creation across the organisation.
What should you bring along?
  • Studying towards a Bachelor\'s degree in Business Management, other relevant fields and on track to achieve a 2:2 or above.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Resilient with highly developed interpersonal skills.
  • Able to integrate and thrive working within a small team.
  • Proficient in IT, including experience of Microsoft Office user including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Motivated, driven and eager to take on new challenges.
  • German language skills would be advantageous, but not essential.
