Job summary

Pertemps Plymouth is hiring a Data Analyst to join their Data Services team. The role focuses on turning complex data into meaningful insights, developing interactive dashboards, and supporting strategic decision-making through high-quality reporting and analysis.

You will drive modern BI adoption, design scalable reporting solutions, connect multiple data sources including Microsoft SQL Server and cloud platforms, and work with stakeholders to deliver actionable business insights.

Qualifications

• Degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Experience developing dashboards, reporting solutions and data visualisations.
• Proven ability to analyse data, identify trends, and present insights.
• Strong experience with large and complex datasets.
• Excellent SQL skills and experience with MS SQL Server.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyse complex datasets to identify trends and insights.
• Design and develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualisations.
• Create scalable automated reporting solutions to improve efficiency.
• Consolidate manual reporting into dynamic self-service dashboards.
