Job summary

Young Lives vs Cancer is seeking a Data Analyst (Impact Focus) to join the Strategic Insight team, working across the charity to turn data into actionable insight.

You will develop Power BI dashboards, analyse data from multiple sources, and support evidence-informed decisions across the organisation while collaborating with the Research, Learning & Systems Change teams. The role is home-based across the UK with some travel for meetings, and offers a generous benefits package.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills and curiosity about turning data into insight.
• Experience analysing data to support decision‑making.
• Good written and verbal communication across audiences.
• Ability to create dashboards and reports using Power BI or similar.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary analytical resource for the Innovation, Policy & Systems Change Directorate.
• Analyse data from multiple sources to understand reach, outcomes and equity.
• Turn data into clear, actionable insight to support decision‑making and learning.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and visualisations.
• Collaborate across the organisation to improve data governance and evidence sharing.
• Support funding bids, impact reporting and organisational priorities.
