Job summary

Kingston Council is seeking a Data Analyst to own the Highways and Transport Data Strategy across Kingston and Sutton. You will manage datasets, analyse transport data, and translate insights into dashboards and reports for decision-makers.

The role requires strong SQL/Python skills, experience with data visualization, and effective collaboration with internal teams and external bodies like TfL. Hybrid working is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in data analysis and visualization.
• Proficient with SQL and Python for data extraction and cleaning.
• Familiarity with GIS mapping or geospatial data is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the Highways & Transport Data Strategy and index data assets.
• Use SQL and Python to extract/clean large back-end datasets and build dashboards.
• Produce clear, visual reports for diverse audiences and partners.
• Upskill project managers and collaborate with TfL to maximise data opportunities.
• Lead analytical projects from requirements gathering to delivery.
