Data Analyst - up to £35,000 + benefits Location: Based out of Northampton, but role is 100% remote, must be based in UK Contract: Permanent, Full-time

About the Role

I am delighted to be partnering with a leading scale up organisation who are looking to recruit a Data Analyst who will play a key role in supporting pricing, data analysis, and continuous improvement across FM and logistics projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with good analytical skills and an interest in commercial data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect, clean, and validate data from tender documents, drawings, and asset lists.
  • Build cost models and pricing templates for FM and logistics services.
  • Create dashboards and reports to support business development and bid teams.
  • Analyse supplier quotes, check data accuracy, and highlight key differences.
  • Maintain databases and trackers for rates, suppliers, and assumptions.
  • Identify opportunities to automate or improve data processes.
  • Support handover of pricing information to delivery teams post‑bid.
  • Organise supplier pricing data and ensure completeness and consistency.
  • Maintain supplier data including contact details and accreditations.
What successful performance in the role looks like
  • Clean, reliable data that can be reused across bids and projects.
  • Timely and accurate support to pricing workstreams.
  • Well‑structured models and reports that are easy to follow.
  • A growing understanding of how data drives commercial decisions.
Skills/experience needed as the Data Analyst are
  • Strong Excel skills (Power Query or Pivot Tables an advantage).
  • Interest in tools like Power BI, SQL, or Python.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working with numbers and structured problem‑solving.
Experience & Qualifications
  • Some experience in data analysis, pricing, finance, estimating, or commercial administration (including placement or graduate roles).
  • Understanding of large data sets, supplier information, or cost models.
  • Full UK driving licence.
