Veezu, the UK's fastest growing taxi and private hire technology business, is hiring a Data Analyst. You will analyse data from multiple sources, translate findings into actionable insights, and develop dashboards for stakeholders.

Reporting to the VP of Performance and Data Science, you will own KPI reporting, validate data accuracy, and present recommendations to support data-driven decisions. Hybrid role with Cardiff HQ, occasional travel to other locations.

Formación

• Relevant analytics qualification or background.
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction and transformation.
• Experience presenting data findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with Power BI or similar software.
• Ability to gather and translate reporting requirements from stakeholders.

• Develop practical dashboards and outputs in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Own and maintain KPIs and reporting infrastructure for senior stakeholders.
• Perform ad hoc reports by collecting, analysing, and reporting requested data.
• Validate data accuracy and investigate discrepancies to ensure reliability.
• Present insights and recommendations to support data-driven decisions.
• Maintain ISO27001 information security compliance standards.

Your Role At Veezu

As a Data Analyst you handle the delivery of data solutions to key stakeholders and play a key role in helping us to grow the business and enhance our market position. Reporting into the VP of Performance and Data Science, your role will involve analysing, transforming, and validating complex datasets to drive operational KPIs.

What You’ll Do

• Analyse data from multiple sources to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, translating findings into actionable insights.
• Work with stakeholders to define reporting requirements and develop practical dashboards and outputs.
• Take ownership over and maintain key reporting infrastructure around KPIs for senior stakeholders across the business.
• Perform ad hoc reports for key stakeholders by collecting, analysing, and reporting requested and relevant data.
• Ensure data accuracy and reliability by validating reporting data and investigating discrepancies.
• Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders to support data driven decision making.
• Be committed to maintaining our ISO27001 certification and set high standards for Information Security compliance.

What You’ll Need

• Relevant analytics qualification or background.
• Proven SQL skills, for data extraction and transformation.
• Track record of presenting data and findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience in Power BI or similar software.
• Advanced skills in Google Sheets or MS Excel.
• Ability to gather and translate reporting requirements from stakeholders into practical outputs.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret market data, identify trends and make data-driven decisions.
• Familiarity with data governance, data management, and regulatory requirements related to reporting.

Where You’ll Be

• This role is hybrid, with your base being your home address. However, it is expected that you could work from our Cardiff HQ and other locations as necessary for a minimum of 1 day per month
