The Opportunity

I'm currently working with an innovative fintech business in Manchester that is looking to hire a Data Analyst to join its growing data and technology team.

The organisation develops technology-led financial products and services, using data to improve customer experiences, optimise financial performance and support business growth. As the business continues to expand, it's investing in its data capabilities to make better use of the information it collects and strengthen its analytical capabilities across the organisation.

The role will also involve developing dashboards, improving reporting processes and ensuring key business metrics are accurate, accessible and understood.

The ideal candidate will have strong SQL skills, experience with Power BI or Tableau and the ability to communicate analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience working within fintech, financial services, banking, payments or another technology-led environment would be particularly valuable.

  • Investigate data discrepancies and support improvements in data accuracy, consistency and quality.
  • Deliver regular and ad hoc reporting to support strategic planning and operational decision-making.
