About the role

We are recruiting a Data Analyst to join our Operations Support team. You will provide management information to senior leaders, supporting the development, analysis, and delivery of operational and financial data to align with the Trust’s strategic goals, priorities, and contractual obligations.

You will act as a key link with senior management, supporting the development and measurement of strategies, and enhancing our Business Performance reporting across maintenance programmes, efficiencies, safety, finance, and compliance.

Location

This role is primarily remote, with occasional attendance at main hubs such as Leeds, Ellesmere Port, Burnley, Newark, Birmingham, Milton Keynes, or Gloucester, to facilitate team collaboration.

Knowledge, Skills/Qualifications & Experience

Key responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development, implementation, and analysis of works aligning with Trust priorities; interrogate systems and develop reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Interpret and present reports clearly using various media formats.
  • Provide timely, accurate reports and analysis to support decision-making and improve efficiency.
  • Maintain and automate reporting measures, develop new KPIs, and work with teams to meet data needs.
  • Ensure high data quality, investigate anomalies, and support performance analysis to improve productivity and compliance.

Technical skills:

  • Experience in unfamiliar industries, developing understanding for high-quality data management and analysis.
  • Ability to generate automated reports from external data sources.
  • Proficiency in PowerBI or similar visualization tools.
  • Experience in continuous improvement environments or familiarity with lean principles is desirable.

General skills:

  • Strong IT skills, analytical mindset, attention to detail, and organizational ability to multitask.
