Overview

Data Analyst - Procurement

We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Data Analyst to provide data standardisation for a new data management solution. This role bridges business and technical teams, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and usability across systems and processes.

Key Accountabilities
System Deployment Support
  • Collaborate with functional and technical teams to define data requirements for Procurement applications across a complex system landscape
  • Assist in data migration activities: mapping, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation
  • Analyse legacy data sources and support the data transformation into compatible formats
  • Participate in testing cycles (e.g., UAT) to validate data accuracy and system behaviour
  • Define and implement data standards, policies and procedures
Master Data Development
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of a centralised master data strategy
  • Define and document data standards, taxonomies, and governance rules
  • Monitor data quality metrics and support remediation efforts
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand data needs and pain points
  • Translate business requirements into data models and feed into the reporting workstream for supporting the development of reports and dashboards
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support decision-making
Key Experience, Knowledge and Skills
  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst
  • Working with IT, Business teams and 3rd party vendors
  • In depth understanding of SAP and Microsoft Dynamics or other similar solutions
  • Strong SQL skills and familiarity with data profiling and cleansing tools
  • Understanding of master data concepts and data governance frameworks
  • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or other data visualisation tools
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
