Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking an Assistant Data Analyst for a 12-month fixed-term contract in London with hybrid working. The successful candidate will support client affairs, perform banking checks, and assist with data recording and reporting. Strong experience in Financial Services and MS Office skills, especially Excel, are essential. Qualifications

  • Previous experience in Financial Services or Professional Services.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Excel (Pivot tables and VLOOKUP).
  • Strong attention to detail and an interrogative approach to work.
  • Comfortable in fast-paced environments with prioritising skills.
  • Capable of maintaining effective relationships at all levels.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with client affairs administration, including documentation.
  • Record and process client banking instructions.
  • Perform Anti-Money Laundering checks.
  • Assist with business administration tasks.
  • Record data on databases and spreadsheets.
  • Provide reports to clients and staff as needed.
  • Perform analysis and reporting for Operations and Research Teams.
  • Assist in producing Management Information reports.
  • Scan and profile documents into SharePoint.
  • Undertake other related duties as required.

Role

Job Title: Assistant Data Analyst
Job Type: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
Location: London – Hybrid working

Responsibilities
  • Assist with the administration of client affairs, including funds documentation and instructions received from client directors.
  • Record and process client banking instructions through online banking platform.
  • Perform Anti-Money Laundering checks on incoming money to team.
  • Assist members of the Operation Team with business administration.
  • Recording data on databases and spreadsheets.
  • Providing reports to clients and the staff when required.
  • Scanning, profiling and distribution of dividend vouchers.
  • Perform analysis and reporting in support of the Operations and Research Teams.
  • Assist in the production of Management Information reports for Committees and the Board.
  • Scanning and profiling of documents as required into the SharePoint system.
  • Undertake any other related duties as may be reasonably required.
Qualifications
  • A candidate with previous experience in Financial Services or Professional Services
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Excel (Pivot tables and VLOOKUP regularly used)
  • Strong attention to detail and an interrogative approach to work
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with a strong ability to prioritise workload
