Zusammenfassung

Trainline is seeking a Data Analyst for its Enterprise Solutions division to translate data into strategic insight that informs product strategy and partner solutions. You’ll work with embedded Data Scientists, Product Managers and commercial teams to shape analytics across rail retail initiatives.

You will build high-quality dashboards, influence decisions with clear storytelling, and contribute to a growing Data organisation spanning Data Science, ML, Data Engineering and BI.

Qualifikationen

• Experience using analytics to support business decisions and answer complex commercial questions.
• Strong SQL skills and confidence working with large datasets to produce accurate, reliable analyses.
• Some experience using AI to accelerate coding for analysis and basic automation of day-to-day work.
• Ability to structure analytical work clearly, navigate ambiguity and turn complex findings into actionable recommendations.
• Experience communicating insights to senior stakeholders, partners and colleagues from technical and non-technical backgrounds.
• Strong data visualization skills using Python or tools like Tableau/Power BI.
• Thoughtful storytelling to create polished deliverables that are easy to understand and act on.
• Ability to manage multiple analytical work streams and balance competing priorities.
• Experience with DBT or modern data transformation workflows.

Introducing the Trainline Partner Solutions Data Analytics Team

Data Analytics is central to how we build better products, support our partners and grow our business. Our Data Analysts are embedded across cross-functional teams spanning product, commercial and industry initiatives, working closely with Product Managers, Software Engineers, Commercial teams, Embedded Data Scientists and the wider Data organisation to enable confident, evidence-based decision making. As a Data Analyst within Enterprise Solutions, our B2B arm, you will help shape the future of rail through business travellers and wider retail innovation, supporting partners across the industry with data-driven insight that improves how rail travel is sold, delivered and experienced.

You will work closely with Embedded Data Scientists, Product Managers and commercial colleagues to structure analytical approaches, interpret findings and translate complex data into insight that informs product strategy and partner-facing solutions. This role sits within a growing Data organisation that includes Data Science, Machine Learning, Data Engineering, Business Intelligence and Data Product Management, offering the opportunity to contribute to decisions that shape the next generation of rail retail and enterprise capability.

In this role as the Data Analyst, you will...

• Collaborate across Data, Product and Design to ensure insight is embedded into decision making from early exploration through to delivery.
• Help define how we measure success across TPS products and partner solutions.
• Contribute to a growing Data organisation that includes Data Science, Machine Learning, Data Engineering, Business Intelligence and Data Product Management.

We'd love to hear from you if you have...

• Strong data visualisation skills, ideally using Python or tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
