Role: Data Analyst.

Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 + 10% bonus

Location: Once a week in Bath.

Overview

Our client is seeking a Data Analyst. This role is perfect for a proactive individual looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic and secure innovative environment. (Scale-up)

They are looking for someone who would be a looking to take the next step up in to a leadership role in and mentor Junior Analysts within the business whilst being comfortable managing stakeholders by guiding them with strategic insights using your technical expertise.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, development, and governance of the analytics ecosystem (Looker Studio, Metabase, BigQuery)
  • Drive the analytics roadmap, proactively identifying opportunities for new metrics, dashboards, and data-driven initiatives.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to define data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, influencing strategic decisions through evidence-based recommendations.
  • Champion process innovation to enhance data workflows, reporting efficiency, and overall business intelligence maturity.
Essential Experience
  • 2-3 years + in a Data Analyst position
  • Proficiency with BI/data visualisation tools (Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI) and data warehouses (BigQuery preferred).
  • Advanced SQL skills, with strong ability in Google Sheets and data storytelling for executive audiences.
  • Strong hands-on experience with a major cloud provider (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
  • Proven ability to translate complex business needs into actionable analytical solutions.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration experience.
