Job description

This is a hands‑on role for a consulting‑savvy Product led Project Manager to run small, high‑impact delivery teams across data and AI engagements. You will own day‑to‑day delivery, commercials, and client cadence for 3‑5 person teams, ensuring projects land on time, on budget, and to scope while nurturing long‑term client relationships. Ideal for someone with 4‑5 years of project management experience in a consulting environment who is comfortable with ambiguity, enjoys getting close to the work, and is commercially sharp.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross functional (engineering and data science) agile delivery teams ensuring success criteria align with client objectives and deliver tangible outcomes.
• Build and maintain positive client relationships, showing the best of the client.
• Collaborate closely with technical teams to translate business problems into data and AI solutions.
• Monitor project progress, proactively addressing risks, dependencies, and stakeholder concerns.
• Manage project resourcing and budgeting ensuring delivery meets target margin.
• Own and prioritise the product backlogs with client stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for account expansion, upselling, and cross‑selling consultancy services.
• Support proposal development, pitch presentations, and SoW drafting.

Skills and Experience Profile

• Use of agile delivery tools such as Jira/Confluence.
• Experience as an agile delivery lead (scrum master/project manager) responsible for running day to day delivery for a multidisciplinary team including software engineers and data scientists.
• Supporting the rollout of new products or services with clients/customers, helping to manage any cultural or business change to ensure they deliver the value promised.
• Acting as a Product Owner in an agile delivery team.
• A background as an engagement lead in a professional services company, responsible for leading client relationships and ensuring agreed scope is delivered on time and budget.

Additional Information

• Rate Offered: £475 - £500 Per Day
• Initial Duration: 8 weeks / 3 days per week
• Hybrid Profile: 1-2 Days onsite (Farringdon / London)
• IR35 Status: Outside
