Lloyds Banking Group is offering a Data Apprentice programme based in Leeds, starting September 2027. The position spans 4.5 years with a Level 4 Applied Data and AI Specialist apprenticeship followed by a Level 6 Degree Apprenticeship.

You will learn to work with large data sets, perform analytics, and develop insights that influence business decisions. You will gain hands-on experience through real projects, mentored development, and a structured progression path into data science and digital

Qualifications

• GCSEs Maths and English (4-9) achieved.
• 3 A levels at CCC (predicted acceptable).
• Must apply for and complete Level 4 Applied Data and AI Specialist apprenticeship.
• Following completion, move to Level 6 Degree Apprenticeship in Data Science or Digital Technology Solutions.

Responsibilities

• Learn to tame big datasets and turn insights into decisions.
• Develop skills in SQL, Python and data visualization.
• Build dashboards and explain data through storytelling.
• Participate in analytics lifecycles and data governance practices.
