Job Title: Data, AI and Finance Implementation Business Analyst/Project Manager

Location: Hybrid Working – London N3 / EC4M / Remote

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 35-hour week (Flexitime)

Employment Type: Day rate or Fixed-Term Contract

We areseekingan experienced and multifacetedBusiness Analyst / Project Managertohelp drive forward delivery of an ambitious AI and Data roadmap as well asa critical financial systemstransformation. Thisrolesitsattheintersectionoftechnicalimplementationandbusinessprocessre‑engineering as we migrate our 10‑person finance function fromXero to Microsoft Dynamics 365 BusinessCentralas well as supportour AI and Data strategy roadmap execution.In addition to the finance platform implementation, the role places equal emphasis on shaping and executing the Data and AI strategy, as well as ensuring seamless system integration. You will collaborate closely with data engineers and implementation partners to design robust data models,establishAI-driven processes, and oversee the integration of key systems.

As part of a larger implementation team, you will bridge the gap between finance stakeholders, data engineers, andourexternalimplementationpartners.Thispositionrequiresaprofessionalcapableofmanagingtechnical complexity (data models, migration logic) whileassistingteams through a significant period of operationalchange.You will be supported by Implementation partners for both Finance and Data and AI andaninternal transformation team.

• Leadrequirements gatheringfrom finance stakeholders during the critical Xero-to-Business Central migration
• Leadrequirementsgatheringfrom Business stakeholdersfor theAI and Data roadmap delivery
• Completetool analysis and reviewfor specific Financeprocess, Optionsanalysisand report back.
• Own the creation and prioritization of theAI and Dataimplementation backlog, managing scope across workstreams.
• Maintaincleardocumentationofbusinessrules,workflows,anddependencies.
• Participate inworkshopstomapcurrent‑stateprocesses(Xero)tofuture‑state(BusinessCentral)workflowsand challenge implementationvendoron an AI and Data driven set up.
• Producedetailedrequirementspecificationsfordevelopmentandconfigurationteams.

FINANCEPLATFORMIMPLEMENTATION AND TRANSITION (XEROTOBUSINESSCENTRAL)

• As isprocessmappingforkeyfinancecycles:AP,AR,GL,andReporting.
• FacilitatedeepunderstandingoffinancialconfigurationoptionswithinBusinessCentral
• DesigndatamigrationstrategyfromXero,includingcomprehensivedatavalidationandcleansingrequirements.
• Ensuredataintegrityduringmigrationandestablishrobustcontrolframeworks

FINANCEINTEGRATION SUPPORT

• Process mapping of existing and to beacquiredentities
• Planning fornew and existing entities processes totransition to BKL Group processes
• Business partnering and change managementto ensure a smooth transition
• Ad hoc support with M&Aintegration

DATA&ANALYTICS

• Designthedatacubeframeworkforfinancialanalyticsandreporting.
• TranslateBusinessCentraltransactiondataintostructureddatamodels.
• WorkwiththePracticeEngineintegrationarchitecturetodefinedataflowsandtransformations.
• SpecifyPowerBIdatamodels,calculatedcolumns,andmeasuresforfinancialdashboards.

• Actastheprimarypointofcontactbetweenthefinanceteam,implementationpartners,andtechnicalteam.

You’ll Be Ideal for This Role If You Have:

• Good understanding of finance processes (AP, AR, GL, reporting) and control frameworks.
• Skilled in documentation, data validation, workflow design, and change facilitation.
• Confident communicator able to simplify technical concepts and lead workshops.
• Comfortable challenging vendors and driving data- and AI‑led future‑state design.
• Detail‑oriented, collaborative, adaptable, and proactive in embedding AI and data-driven thinking.
