Job summary

3t is recruiting a Dangerous Goods Instructor for permanent employment in Aberdeen, UK. The role involves delivering 3t’s approved courses across training centres, ensuring quality and compliance with HSE policies, and supporting client engagements.

The successful candidate will hold recognised assessor and instructor qualifications, deliver DG by Air/Sea courses, and contribute to course development and audits. 40-hour week, with standard daytime hours.

Qualifications

  • Must hold an industry-recognised Assessor qualification (SQA/OPITO or equivalent).
  • Must hold an industry-recognised Instructor/Teaching qualification (CAA Instructors certificate).
  • Deliver courses in Dangerous Goods by Air/Sea accreditation schemes as required.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver 3t approved courses within the assigned subject area at 3t training centres.
  • Support customers during course delivery as appropriate.
  • Participate in standardisation and continuing professional development events.
  • Contribute to course development and improvements to meet client needs.
  • Demonstrate commitment to Health, Safety and the Environment.

Job description

3t is currently looking to recruit a Dangerous Goods Instructor on a permanent contract in Aberdeen, UK.

This role is contracted at 40 hours per week. The working hours for this role are 7.30am to 4.15pm, Monday to Friday, including a 45‑minute unpaid lunch break.

Salary and Benefits Package
  • Up to £47,000.00 per annum.

To deliver 3t’ approved suite of courses within the given technical subject area at 3t training centres in a consistent, professional way which reflects 3t’ business integrity and culture.

  • Dangerous Goods by Sea Client bespoke Dangerous Goods course
