Job summary

1st Select Ltd is seeking a Damp & Timber Surveyor to deliver detailed surveys for residential and commercial properties, accurately identifying damp and timber defects and recommending remedial solutions.

The ideal candidate holds CSRT and CSSW qualifications, has a full UK driving licence, and can provide clear, professional reports while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining the family business reputation.

Qualifications

• CSRT and CSSW qualifications are required.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Experience in damp diagnosis, timber treatment and property preservation.
• Ability to explain technical issues and recommendations clearly to customers.

Responsibilities

• Carry out surveys of residential and commercial properties to identify damp, timber and related defects.
• Assess waterproofing and below-ground damp or water ingress where needed.
• Prepare clear survey reports, specifications and recommendations.
• Provide honest, professional advice and remedial solutions to customers.
• Build strong relationships with customers and ensure excellent service from enquiry to completion.
• Manage workload including appointments, surveys, reports and follow-ups.
