A charitable social landlord in Cornwall is seeking a Damp and Mould Operative on a fixed-term contract for 6 months. The ideal candidate will have experience in building maintenance and knowledge of legal requirements. This role offers a salary of approximately £25,415.25 per year and is on-site only. A great opportunity has arisen to join our Damp & Mould team in Services.
We are looking for someone with proven experience in building maintenance, diagnosing and specifying remedial repair works in residential buildings and sound knowledge of the legal requirements and health and safety requirements when undertaking repair works to residential buildings. You will also have the ability to produce specific risk assessments and method statements and demonstrable IT skills and an understanding of mobile working IT and the company's Universal Housing Management system.
You should also have the ability to make evidence‑based judgements, prioritise work, meet deadlines and targets, problem solve and research complex technical issues too.
This role requires a full driving licence and a satisfactory basic DBS check.
