Job Title: Damp and Mould Operative

Employment Information

Permanent Full Time, 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday).

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs and maintenance work relating to damp and mould in occupied and vacant properties.
• Follow all policies and procedures to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
• Support the delivery of a competitive cost‑effective repairs service across various types of works including day‑to‑day maintenance, void refurbishments, cyclical and servicing work.
• Meet performance targets by completing tasks on time and to the required quality standard.
• Take responsibility for your own health and safety and ensure the safety of colleagues and residents.
• Complete minor maintenance tasks including first‑line plumbing, carpentry and plastering where required.
• Perform duties in a semi‑skilled labouring role, adapting to a variety of work demands.
• Undertake any other reasonable duties or projects as required by management.

What we're looking for

• Experience in building maintenance, particularly in addressing damp and mould issues.
• Basic skills in plumbing, carpentry and plastering.
• A proactive safety‑first approach with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and time management skills.
• Full driving licence for use in the UK.
