Job summary

Academics are expanding their network of primary teachers across Dacorum and are looking to speak with experienced Qualified Primary Teachers who are interested in daily supply work.

We work with numerous primary schools across Tring, Hemel Hempstead and Berkhamsted, giving teachers the opportunity to choose the type of work that fits around their availability and preferences. Salary: £140-£245 per day, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• QTS qualification and current teaching status.
• Experience delivering daily supply in primary settings.
• Ability to manage classrooms and follow existing plans.

Responsibilities

• Cover planned absence and short-term teaching assignments.
• Follow long-term and short-term plans and maintain pupil behavior.
• Establish rapport with pupils and support learning.

The opportunity

As a Qualified Primary Teacher, you could be covering:

• Planned teacher absence
• PPA
• Short-term sickness
• Training days
• Emergency cover
• Short-term teaching assignments

Location: Dacorum

Areas covered: Tring, Hemel Hempstead and Berkhamsted

Role: Qualified Primary Teacher - Daily Supply

Pay: £140-£245 per day, depending on experience

Flexibility: Choose when you're available

We are particularly interested in experienced Qualified Primary Teachers who are confident walking into a new classroom and taking control of the day.

You should be able to quickly establish rapport with pupils, follow existing plans and maintain strong behaviour and learning expectations.
