Job summary

Accelero is seeking an experienced D365 F&O Finance Functional Specialist to own a live global ERP environment with genuine ownership. This hybrid role requires 2 days onsite per week, based in Milton Keynes, United Kingdom.

You will configure and optimise D365 F&O Finance, support GL, AP/AR, financial dimensions and period close, and collaborate with Finance stakeholders to translate requirements into effective D365 solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years D365 F&O Finance experience.
• Strong hands‑on functional configuration experience.
• Experience across GL, AP/AR, financial dimensions, posting profiles and period close.

• Resolve production issues and improve system performance.
• Work closely with Finance stakeholders to translate requirements into D365 solutions.

• Assess new Microsoft D365 functionality and releases.
• Support multiple countries, legal entities and localisation requirements.
• Work alongside technical teams on integrations and wider system changes.
• Support testing, releases and continuous improvement.

I’m currently recruiting for an exciting D365 F&O Finance Functional Specialist opportunity with a well-established global organisation.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced D365 Finance functional specialist who wants genuine ownership of a live global ERP environment.

What'you’ll be doing:

• Own and prioritise the D365 Finance enhancements backlog

• Work closely with Finance stakeholders to translate requirements into D365 solutions
• Support GL, AP, AR, financial dimensions, posting profiles and period close
• Assess new Microsoft D365 functionality and releases

• Work alongside technical teams on integrations and wider system changes
• Support testing, releases and continuous improvement

What they're looking for:

• 5+ years D365 F&O Finance experience
• Strong hands‑on functional configuration experience
• Experience across GL, AP/AR, financial dimensions, posting profiles and period close
• Experience supporting a live production D365 environment
• Multi‑country / global D365 experience
• Understanding of tax, localisation and regulatory requirements
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with enhancements, releases and continuous improvement

OTC experience and exposure to Microsoft D365 release management would be a big plus.

This isn't a pure implementation or development role, it's a genuine functional ownership position, working closely with Finance and helping shape how the D365 platform evolves.
