Job summary

Candour Solutions Limited is seeking a Dynamics 365 Developer / Application Specialist to join our platform team in York on a permanent, hybrid basis. You will support configuration and development across Customer Service and Sales, collaborating with technical leads to deliver reliable D365 solutions.

The role requires practical D365 experience, knowledge of Dataverse, Power Apps, JavaScript and C#, with strong communication and stakeholder collaboration to drive successful implementations.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 development or application specialist role.
• Knowledge of Customer Service, Sales, Dataverse, the CDM, model-driven Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Experience across configuration and development, with design, build, testing and deployment understanding.
• Lifecycle management, governance, documentation, data design and querying.

Responsibilities

• Support the development, configuration and continuous improvement of Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications, primarily across Customer Service and Sales.
• Work with technical leads and delivery colleagues.
• Configure and customise applications.
• Develop extensions.
• Support integrations.
• Resolve defects.
• Contribute to reliable, maintainable platform delivery.

Job description

Salary: £55,000 - 55,000 per year

Requirements

• Practical experience as a Microsoft Dynamics 365 developer or application specialist.
• Knowledge of Customer Service, Sales, Dataverse, the Common Data Model, model-driven Power Apps, Power Automate and solution management.
• Comfortable working across both configuration and development, with understanding of software delivery from design and build through testing and deployment.
• Experience of application lifecycle management, governance, documentation, database design, data normalisation and querying.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, C#, plug-ins, APIs and Azure DevOps would be advantageous.
• Experience with Contact Centre, Omnichannel, customer-service workspaces, third-party integrations or Azure integration services would be advantageous.
• Technically curious, pragmatic and delivery-focused, with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to analyse complex information, influence others and make sound implementation decisions within agreed standards.
• Awareness of quality, security, maintainability and operational considerations.
• Experience of both waterfall and agile methodologies.
• Experience in a regulated environment would be beneficial.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications such as PL-200, PL-400, MB-230 or MB-210 would be beneficial.
