Job summary

A global consultancy is seeking a D365 CE Functional Consultant for an onsite role in London. The position is an initial 6-month contract with possible extensions. Responsibilities include leading functional design, configuring events, building segments, and designing customer journeys. Ideal candidates will have 5-8 years of experience in Dynamics 365 Marketing, strong template-building skills, and excellent communication abilities. D365 CE Functional Consultant

Onsite in London

Our client a global consultancy is looking for a D365 Functional Consultant on an initial 6 month contract with the option of extension thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Lead functional design and configuration for CIJ (customer insight journey) Real Time marketing
• Configure Real Time events, event triggers, and event-based conditions
• Build Real Time segments (behavioural, event-driven, attribute segments)
• Design customer journeys with branching logic (conditions, A/B splits, wait conditions, exit rules)
• Configure brand profiles, compliance profiles, consent centre, subscription centres
• Build email/SMS/WhatsApp templates with personalization & rules
• Define KPI tracking, journey analytics, reporting requirements
• Conduct requirement workshops, UAT, training & documentation

Required Skills & Experience

• 5-8 years in Dynamics 365 Marketing/CIJ
• Strong understanding of CIJ RTM features: events, segments, branching journeys
• Hands‑on with journey orchestration, goals, suppression rules, exit conditions
• Experience configuring consent & compliance profiles with regional logic
• Strong template‑building skills: email, SMS, dynamic text, personalization
• Good analytical skills for interpreting journey insights & performance
• Excellent communication and workshop facilitation skills
