Job summary

Modis International Ltd invites a D365 Business Central Techno-Functional Consultant to join a client-facing team delivering full ERP transformations from requirements through go-live. The role blends functional knowledge with AL development to tailor extensions and customisations.

You will engage finance stakeholders, design robust solutions and lead workshops, ensuring successful delivery across multiple client environments.

Qualifications

• Strong practical experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central across consulting or in-house teams.
• Deep knowledge of core Business Central finance functionality and processes.
• Solid understanding of finance and accounting concepts.
• Experience translating business requirements into workable system solutions.
• Exposure to Business Central configuration, enhancements, integrations or customisations.
• Ability to work with finance stakeholders, technical teams and senior users.
• Experience contributing to design, testing, deployment, training or go-live.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ownership from issue to resolution.
• Excellent communication skills; able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Interest in client-facing consulting and developing broader skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support end-to-end Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations across client environments.
• Work with finance teams and stakeholders to understand processes and transformation goals.
• Translate requirements into functional specs, designs and process maps.
• Configure and implement core Business Central finance functionality and related tools.
• Develop extensions and customisations using AL when needed.
• Own project activity through design, build, testing, deployment and go-live.
• Run client workshops, requirements sessions and solution presentations.
• Manage project plans, milestones, risks, and delivery dependencies.
• Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to resolve challenges.
• Produce business cases, documentation and client-facing deliverables.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to bids and pre-sales.
