A leading education recruitment specialist is seeking a temporary D&T Technician to support the Food, Textiles, and Graphics areas in the Technology Faculty. The role includes assisting with teaching, maintaining equipment, and guiding students. Flexibility is available with a workload of 25 hours a week. Competitive daily rates offer between £90 – £115 in a supportive educational environment.
Monarch Education are working with a secondary school seeking to appoint a temporary D&T Technician to support The Food, Textiles and Graphics areas within their Technology Faculty.
The role will involve assisting and supporting the teaching and learning of Food, Textiles, Graphics to ensure learners’ make progress. More specifically: cleaning and maintenance of equipment; administrative support with regard to health & safety; sourcing and preparing equipment and tools; assisting and guiding students during lessons.
The position is for 25 hours per week, 9am – 2pm (some flexibility available) 5 hours per day during term time only plus 5 inset days.
