A health services provider in Thatcham is seeking a part-time Operational Lead for their Integrated Therapies team. You'll be responsible for managing Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, and Speech & Language Therapy services for school-aged children. This role requires strong leadership skills, HCPC registration, and experience in children's services. Children and Young People's Integrated Therapies (CYPIT) West School Age Locality Operational Lead
Do you want to play a key role in shaping and delivering high-quality therapy services for school-aged children?
We are looking for a motivated leader to join our Children and Young People's Integrated Therapies (CYPIT) team, in order to support service delivery within a new locality focused management structure. The role is 22.5 hours a week and will be supporting either Wokingham or West Berkshire therapy teams.
As Operational Lead,the roles will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, and Speech & Language Therapy services for school-aged children within a defined locality. You will work closely with clinicians, the CYPIT leadership team, and external partners to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and young people.

Lead the operational delivery of school-aged CYPIT services in your locality, ensuring performance targets are met.
Line manage and support a defined group of staff, promoting development and wellbeing.
Work alongside CYPIT senior managers and professional leads to plan, coordinate, deliver, and evaluate services.
Drive service development within your area, embedding best practice and maximising impact through close partnership working with operational lead colleagues.
Maintain strong working relationships with schools, local authority SEN teams, and wider partners to support the needs of school-aged children.
Represent CYPIT at SEN panels and/or ensure that there is representation from the team at SEN panel, and work closely with LA SEN and legal teams on tribunal cases.
Carry a clinical caseload as required.

A qualified allied health professional (OT, Physio, SLT) with HCPC registration.
Confident in partnership working with schools, local authorities, and multidisciplinary teams.
Knowledgeable in school-aged development, SEN processes, and tribunal work.
An excellent communicator, able to lead and inspire others.
