Job description

Would you like to work for an expanding health and social care organisation providing high-quality accommodation and support to young people aged 16+ and opening anew OFSTED registered 14+ childrens home? Do you have Level 5 Children and Young People qualification? If so, this CYP Service Manager could be just the job for you. There is a starting salary of up to £50,000 and benefits including free parking, on call payments, a company vehicle for site visits, pension scheme and excellent career prospects. The role can be based in either Mold or Liverpool.

What will you be doing as a CYP Service Manager:
  • Leading the 16+ Supported Accommodation services in line with Ofsted Supported Accommodation Regulations (2023)
  • Overseeing the quality of care and support across multiple solo placements
  • Providing day-to-day operational leadership across 2 offices
  • Contributing to strong safeguarding practice and ensuring staff follow regulatory requirements
  • Supporting the set-up, development, and registration of an Ofsted-registered 14+ Childrens Home
  • Assisting with policy development, paperwork, and compliance required for registration and readiness
  • Covering the regular staff supervision, coaching, and development
  • Supporting the coordination of rotas, staffing cover, and team deployment across services
  • Ensuring quality assurance processes, audits, and service improvement initiatives are being met
  • Assisting in building and maintaining strong working relationships with local authorities, commissioners, and external agencies
  • Helping ensure that all services consistently meet regulatory, contractual, and organisational standards

  • Previous experience in CYP with Level 5 Children and Young People qualification
  • Experience working in 2 of the following: a regulated OFSTED service, 4Cs or supported accommodation
  • A full current driving licence
  • Either possess or willing to undergo a DBS check
