Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust seeks a CYP-PT Therapy Trainee IPT-A to join Hillingdon MHST, delivering IPT-A in identified schools and colleges. You will work with school staff, families and young people to foster wellbeing, under clinical supervision and within a whole-school approach.

Applicants should have a second-class Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and a registerable MH qualification, with at least two years post-qualification experience and a commitment to IPT-A

Qualificações

• Minimum of a second-class Bachelor’s degree from a UK university or equivalent in a relevant subject (e.g. Psychology, Education).
• Registerable professional qualification in a MH profession (e.g. counselling/clinical/educational psychologist, social worker, mental health nurse, occupational therapist, etc.).
• At least 2 years post-qualification experience in a therapy role and ability to work in CAMHS/school settings.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver high-quality, brief outcome-focused interventions for children and young people in schools under supervision.
• Promote mental health and emotional wellbeing within school communities.
• Undertake initial assessments and deliver early interventions for emotional/behavioural difficulties.
• Contribute to risk assessment and provide consultation and signposting.
• Liaise with school staff and external services to support whole-school wellbeing.

Formação académica

Bachelor’s degree (second-class or equivalent)

Registerable professional qualification in MH profession

2+ years post-qualification experience
