Job summary

Candour is recruiting a Professional Services Engineer for Microsoft Cybersecurity, working remotely across the UK. You will move from traditional support into customer-facing project delivery, cybersecurity implementations and consultancy, with hands-on work on Entra ID, Azure, Defender XDR and related technologies.

You will collaborate with experienced consultants, develop into a Technical Consultant role, and drive post-delivery reporting and customer communications throughout engagements.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Support Analyst or Engineer with proven troubleshooting abilities.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft cloud and security technologies including Exchange Online, Entra ID, and Azure.
• Hands-on with identity and access security services such as Conditional Access, PIM, RBAC, and identity protection.
• Experience deploying and supporting XDR solutions including Defender for Endpoint, Identity, Cloud Apps, and Office 365.
• Strong technical documentation and post-delivery reporting skills.
• Excellent communication with a customer-focused mindset.
• Problem-solving with a positive, resilient, adaptable approach.
• Desire for continuous improvement across security technologies.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Information Protection and Purview (DLP, Data Lifecycle).
• Familiar with Defender for Office 365, Mimecast, or Barracuda.
• Experience with SIEM like Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, or LogRhythm.
• Experience with endpoint protection such as Defender, Sophos, or CrowdStrike.
