Job summary

EY Newcastle seeks a Cybersecurity Associate to join our UKFS Consulting Service Delivery team. You will apply Cybersecurity and technology skills to address client challenges, gain hands-on experience, and progress towards industry-recognised qualifications.

You will work within the Newcastle Consulting Service Delivery team, focusing on Cybersecurity while supporting similar delivery work across other CSD areas, with a strong emphasis on client confidentiality and data security.

Qualifications

• Relevant Cybersecurity, technology risk, IT controls, IT audit, information security, or related professional experience.
• Experience supporting teams to deliver work to deadlines and quality expectations.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development in digital tools, automation, AI and emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of Cybersecurity engagements, including risk assessments, control reviews, security governance, and client reporting
• Assist with analysis of client information, policies, procedures and control evidence
• Identify risks, issues and opportunities for improvement across Cybersecurity processes
• Prepare client deliverables, presentations, trackers and management reports
• Collaborate effectively as a team member and support colleagues as needed
• Maintain progress updates to senior team members and foster client relationships
