Job summary

Deloitte UK is seeking a Cybersecurity Architect to join a team driving security into technology solutions across the organisation. You will shape security architecture, influence standards and lead threat modelling, cloud security and IAM work across diverse programmes.

You’ll partner with stakeholders, mentor colleagues, and operate in a hybrid model with UK offices and client sites, balancing risk, delivery and innovation.

Qualifications

• Experience designing security architectures aligned to business objectives.
• Strong knowledge of security principles, patterns and frameworks.
• Ability to oversee implementation and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Familiarity with cloud security, IAM, risk management and compliance controls.
• Experience working with Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery approaches.

Responsibilities

• Shape the security architecture of strategic technology initiatives, embedding security from design to delivery.
• Influence security standards and technology roadmaps to support long-term objectives.
• Lead security architecture reviews and threat modelling activities to mitigate risks.
• Drive adoption of modern security practices and reusable design patterns.
• Provide trusted advice to senior stakeholders on risk-based decisions.
• Contribute to evolving the organisation's cybersecurity strategy and capabilities.
• Mentor and support colleagues, fostering a collaborative architecture community.
