Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Cybersecurity Architect III to join the Cybersecurity and Technology Controls team. You will help deliver high-quality architecture solutions for software applications and platforms, collaborating with cross-functional architects to implement secure technology that aligns with business objectives.

You will apply AI-assisted patterns within the SDLC to improve threat modeling, control reviews, and security documentation, while ensuring traceability and auditability

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on cybersecurity architecture concepts and advanced applied experience.
• Experience creating cybersecurity solutions based on existing security parameters.
• Knowledge of enterprise AI capabilities in cybersecurity workflows with validation habits.
• Ability to assess AI-assisted security recommendations before adoption.
• Ability to evaluate current cybersecurity technologies to optimize architecture.
• Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing and operations.
• Proficient in coding in one or more languages.
• Strong knowledge of information security, IT risk management and patterns.
• Knowledge of SDLC, agile methods, CI/CD, resiliency and security.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and modern software processes.

Responsibilities

• Independently analyzes and reports security risks to protect data, apps, and infrastructure.
• Uses enterprise AI capabilities to accelerate threat modeling and security documentation.
• Conducts reviews on existing security controls with minimal oversight.
• Identifies gaps in network architecture and documents threats and mitigations.
• Applies AI-assisted patterns to improve security testing and control validation.
