Job summary

SearchWorks Pty Ltd in Manchester partners with a technology business to recruit a hands-on Cyber Security Specialist. You will own vulnerability management, strengthen cloud security across SaaS platforms, and work with engineering teams and leadership to raise security resilience.

You will monitor security operations, support ISO 27001 compliance, and report security metrics to senior stakeholders. This role offers hybrid working with two days in the Manchester office.

Qualifications

• Hands-on security professional with vulnerability remediation experience.
• Experience securing cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001 and security governance.

Responsibilities

• Manage vulnerability remediation across SaaS applications and cloud workloads.
• Prioritize findings based on severity and SLAs.
• Operate and improve security monitoring tools and SOC processes.
• Support ISO 27001 compliance and audit readiness.
• Monitor security risks and remediation progress.
• Produce monthly security metrics for senior stakeholders.

We have partnered with an established technology business operating a large-scale SaaS platform, looking for a Cyber Security Specialist to strengthen its cloud security, vulnerability management and security operations.

This is a hands-on opportunity to take ownership of security improvements across a live SaaS environment, working closely with engineering teams, senior leadership and wider technology stakeholders.
