Job summary

F5 Consultants in Manchester seeks a Cyber Security Specialist to support a long-term project, delivering governance, risk, compliance and design assurance across a highly secure environment. You will provide security guidance to stakeholders and technical teams while ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.

The role is onsite Mon-Fri in Manchester with a salary between £50,000 and £65,000 (DOE) and a strong benefits package, including pension, private medical cover, and dedicated training

Qualifications

• GRC and cyber risk management experience.
• Experience with vulnerability management and risk assessment using SIEM tools.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, Cyber Essentials Plus and ITIL.
• Experience leading security assurance, audits and compliance activities.
• Understanding of Zero Trust, IAM/PAM, cloud and infrastructure security.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work within highly regulated or secure environments.

F5 are delighted to be partnering with one of the biggest Technology Consultancies in the UK, an award-winning business that works with major organisations across the country.

They are seeking a Cyber Security Specialist to support a new customer of theirs on a long term project.

You will provide security governance, risk management, compliance oversight and design assurance across a complex, secure environment.

The role is based onsite in their Manchester office, and so will need locally based candidates that are willing to come to site Mon-Fri.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and approve security solution designs.
• Lead governance, risk, compliance and assurance activities.
• Manage security policies, controls, audits and risk registers.
• Oversee vulnerability management and remediation programmes.
• Support business continuity, disaster recovery and incident management.
• Provide security guidance to stakeholders and technical teams.

Key Skills & Experience

• Strong GRC and cyber risk management background.
• Vulnerability management and risk assessment expertise, with experience using SIEM tools (e.g. Sentinel, CrowdStrike etc.)
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, Cyber Essentials Plus and/or ITIL frameworks.
• Experience leading security assurance, audits and compliance activities.
• Understanding of Zero Trust, IAM/PAM, cloud, and infrastructure security.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work within highly regulated or secure environments.

Basic salary £50,000-£65,000
