A leading energy company in the UK is seeking a Distribution Security Officer to enhance cyber security within its Operational Technology and Information Technology. The role involves ensuring compliance with regulations, supporting the development of the cyber security team, and making key security recommendations. Strong understanding of energy industry requirements and professional certification in cyber security are essential. Flexible working options are available.
Base Location: Perth, Glasgow, Reading and Havant
Salary: £58,100 - £87,100 + performance-related bonus and a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.
Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available

We are currently recruiting for Distribution Security Officer to join our Distribution Cyber security team.
As a Cyber Security Officer, you'll be responsible for the assessment and improvement of cyber security within Operational Technology, Information Technology and Data of SSEN Distribution. You will also work with the different directorates within SSEN Distribution and project teams to ensure that designs and architecture meet security requirements.
The role will provide domain expertise for SSEN Distribution to protect our technology systems. Leading the interface between SSE Group Cyber Defence Teams and the operational teams within SSEN Distribution.
