The IT Services team is looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Cyber Security Officer to join the team. This is an exciting and challenging role in which you will work closely with other members of the team to provide high-quality cybersecurity governance.
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated IT professional with at least a Level 4 qualification (HNC/HND or higher) in a relevant discipline, ideally supported by a degree and evidence of ongoing CPD. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of cybersecurity governance and proven expertise in vulnerability and threat management, including hands‑on experience with leading vulnerability assessment tools and methodologies. You will work across a large and complex network environment encompassing both on‑premises infrastructure and cloud‑based services. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Intune, Mobile Device Management, and email security is essential. Candidates must demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, adaptability, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous learning. A DBS check and confirmation of fitness for the role are required.
