Cambridge University Press & Assessment seeks an English Technology Cyber Security Lead to own cyber security for the technology behind English learning products used worldwide. You will set direction, build the team, and align with the Group Security strategy.

The role is hybrid in Cambridge, UK, with 40–60% office presence, and offers a strong development focus within a leading academic publisher and assessment organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience in security strategy, governance, risk and assurance.
• Hands-on knowledge of application, platform and cloud security, including AWS.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive risk remediation.

Responsibilities

• Set cyber security strategy and priorities aligned to wider security approach.
• Be the expert voice on cyber risk for senior leaders.
• Maintain authoritative view of security posture across applications, platforms, suppliers and services.
• Lead security governance and reporting for informed decision making.
• Shape technology, architecture and investment decisions ensuring secure-by-design.
