Job summary

PX Group is recruiting a Cyber Security Functional Lead in Stockton-on-Tees. The role provides leadership to CI & Cyber Principal Engineering Authority and Responsible Systems and Cyber Security Engineers on site, with training, coaching and biannual development reviews.

You will implement security strategies, ensure compliance with NIS, IEC 62443 and ISO 27001, and lead cyber assessments. The role reports to Technical Engineering with onsite responsibilities and a focus on safe, reliable plant

Qualifications

• HNC or equivalent in engineering discipline
• Broad experience across industrial and control systems
• Experience with regulatory standards compliance
• Knowledge of cyber KPIs is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Implement engineering systems and cyber security strategies across the group
• Provide tactical advice on cyber security for control systems and engineering operations
• Ensure compliance with NIS, IEC 62443, ISO 27001 and related standards
• Support the NIS Responsible Officer and act as Deputy when required
• Lead CAF submissions to UK regulators for Critical National Infrastructure
• Report cyber KPI performance to asset owners and px board
• Provide cyber security guidance for risk assessments and improvements
• Support site teams with technical cyber security systems for equipment upgrades
