- Manage team performance through regular one-to-ones, constructive feedback and ongoing development.
- Deputise for the Cyber Security Manager when required.
- Create and manage the security cloud migration process, identifying gaps and driving remediation.
- Oversee the security of IT services, working with internal teams and third parties on patching, vulnerability remediation and system hardening.
- Act as the escalation point for security incidents both in and outside normal working hours.
- Own the cyber security incident process and lead incident simulations and war-game exercises.
- Manage post-incident forensic investigations and reporting, engaging third-party specialists where appropriate.
- Maintain security documentation, processes and procedures to support a consistent service.
- Operate within an ITIL V3 and ISO 27001-focused service delivery framework, working to agreed SLAs and KPIs.
What We're Looking For
- A proven track record of leading or supervising a technical cyber security team.
- Experience planning, developing and implementing Azure security technologies.

- An excellent understanding of security technologies including SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, anti-virus, authentication, log management and content filtering.
- Good knowledge of ISMS, risk analysis, the CIA triad, attack vectors, cryptography and cyber incident response, including triage and chain of custody.
- The ability to manage escalations, communicate effectively with stakeholders and remain composed in a demanding environment.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant certifications such as Security+, SSCP, CISSP, CEH, CCNA, OSCP or MCSE, or a computing or cyber security degree, would be beneficial.
