Job summary

BMT is seeking a Cyber Security Graduate to join our Bath office on a two‑year programme. You will contribute to the defence of digital assets, gain exposure to Operational Technology, Risk Management and Security Architecture, and work on client‑facing projects from day one.

The role offers a permanent contract, hybrid working options, and a clear path to Chartered status with CIISec development support. Initial training focuses on secure design and practical cyber competencies.

Qualifications

• A relevant degree in cyber security (NCSC‑certified programmes are preferred)
• Genuine enthusiasm for the rapidly evolving cyber security landscape
• Keen interest in emerging technologies and their real‑world security implications
• Commitment to delivering exceptional service to our diverse client base
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Candidates must live within a one hour commuting time of Bath or Bristol
• Candidates should possess a good English language GCSE and be confident at report writing

Job Title: Cyber Security Graduate

Contract Type: Permanent

Security Clearance Eligibility: This position supports highly sensitive programmes and is therefore subject to stringent security clearance requirements. Applicants must be UK-born sole British nationals and capable of meeting the security clearance criteria associated with the role. Unfortunately, candidates who hold dual nationality or are not sole British nationals will not be eligible for consideration.
