A local government authority in the United Kingdom is looking for a Cyber Security Engineer to help defend against cyber-attacks. Responsibilities include monitoring security systems, implementing new security measures, and ensuring compliance with best practices. Candidates should possess knowledge of cyber security risks and IT security tools. Permanent contract – 37 hours per week. £31,537 – £42,839 per annum. The ICT shared service provides ICT services for the three South Worcestershire councils – Malvern Hills District Council, Worcester City Council and Wychavon District Council. We provide support and development to the 800+ users. The Cyber Security Team are on the frontline of defending the councils from a cyber‑attack.
