Job summary

PA Consulting Group is offering an industrial placement for an undergraduate in Computer Science, Cyber Security or IT. You will work with cyber security experts to identify risks, assist in safeguarding digital assets, and contribute to building secure systems.

The role will start in July 2027 for 12 months, with base in our London Victoria Office. You will gain hands-on experience across the information security spectrum and progress your career in consulting.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security or IT preferred
• Passion for cyber security with knowledge of latest trends
• Growth-oriented and curious, open to change
• Collaborative and relationship-focused, strong client relationships
• Credible and communicative with excellent written and verbal skills
• Analytical and adaptable with strong problem-solving abilities
• Professional and reliable with strong workplace etiquette
• Coding experience is welcome; Python and SQL knowledge a plus
• Experience processing and gaining insights from data would be beneficial

Responsibilities

• Support cyber security initiatives across client engagements
• Assist in developing cyber security strategy and implement risk-reducing controls
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate threats
• Participate in assessments and shortlisting/technical tests
• Contribute to building resilient security postures for clients
